Our first cross-country trip, where we rode from one end to the country and exited another. We took the amazing Cross-country Trail all the way, staying in guesthouses and ‘love’ motels as it was just too humid to camp!

We brought a new definition to ‘slow travel’, completing the official 9-day “Route 1” itinerary in a little over 6 weeks.

Bikepacking tutorial level: we cycled for 3 weeks and never climbed more than 150ft in a single day.

The start of our world trip in 2025. Tina bailed on the Badger Divide in Scotland and I bailed on riding from Amsterdam to Copenhagen after receiving a local tip. We instead did the Hansa cycling route through the Dutch countryside, in the opposite direction to that originally planned.

After that, we caught a train directly to Copenhagen to catch up with some old friends and see the Danish band Mew play their last show ever in Denmark.
